Description.
Playa Esmeralda (Emerald Beach)
is a small beach that "separates" the beaches
of Costa Calma in the Sotavento beach, one of the
most famous of Fuerteventura, and the most famous for Windsurfers.
It is a relatively wind-protected beach, turquoise
water and white sand, small size and where not many
people, because access is by car, by a road not in
very good condition.
To reach this beach, we
can go from the Hotel H10 Playa Esmeralda, on a dirt
road, or we can get to it from the Sol Gorriones
in "Playa Barca." There is parking on the beach.
This beach has lounges and
a snack bar nearby, but if high tide, you can not walk, so
you have to take the car.
(For me, this beach bar is the
best in Fuerteventura).
My Opinion:
If you want to spend the day on a wild beach and
beautiful, this is your beach. Bring food and drink, for
there is no service on the beach.
