The section of the
FV-30, between Pájara Betancuria and is perhaps one
of the most beautiful of the island, which runs a
mountainous area with deep valleys.
Leaving from Betancuria, and
about 8 miles away about there is a large gazebo on
the right side of the road from where we have
an excellent view of the Penitas dam and the
surrounding mountains and the Valley of the left Granadillos .
The area is large
with enough room to park, and where we can stop for
a photo more typical of Fuerteventura: the Penitas dam.
Typically, this viewpoint and in the next, which
is a few miles away, take a picture with
squirrels living in the area: recommend
bringing nuts to give to the squirrels, which is
funny.
If we get back to
the reservoir, we can see the peak of the Muda, from
538 meters
This viewpoint is
located at 338 meters altitude
and GPS coordinates are
28º 23´13,22¨ N - 14º 05´32,69¨ O
