The HAM HOUSE Restaurant (La Casa
del Jamon) Fuerteventura opened over 20 years, closed its
doors in 2010-2011.
In April 2011 has reopened under the direction
of Brenda and Gary Ciurana with extensive experience in
the restoration.
This restaurant has interesting details, such as use
in briar wood grilled, almond and vine brought from La Palma, or
bring the meat directly in Galicia, which get very high standard
of quality.
Thus, a simple dish such as fried eggs with
potatoes, or tomatoes seasoned with Fuerteventura cheese are
simply delicious (chicken eggs and poultry, of course).
The
offer is complete with hot and cold
starters and a wide range of interesting fish and meat quality.
I tried the Veal Chop Blonde Summum (the
highest quality), grilled, and it was delicious, as well as
being accompanied by fried potatoes and red peppers.
Pate and Foie are also manufactured
in house, and soon will offer a letter of different rice
dishes and paellas.
Hinterland have 40 people, 1 of
10 private rooms and 5 people, plus a very nice outdoor
area protected for 60 people, located next to an original bar
counter to eat and drink something light.
