Description.
El Viejo Beach (Old Man Beach) is
adjacent to the Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas. It is a
magnificent beach of fine white sand, turquoise
waters and views of the nearby Isla de Lobos.
It binds to Playa del Pozo, bringing
its total length is 600 meters.
It´s overcrowded and it has sun beds an lifeguards.
To reach the beach you
can park next to Hotel Riu Oliva Beach Resort, and
walk to the beach by the seaside road that runs
alongside the Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas, since
parking in the latter hotel is reserved for
customers. You can also park in the FV-1, 400meters
from roundabout at the entrance to the Hotel Riu Palace Tres
Islas, and walkabout 400 meters to the sea.
This beach is mostly
for tourists, especially those of the Riu they have
it a few meters
My Opinion:
Of the best beaches in
this area of Corralejo. Moderate size, uncrowned and
quiet. Crystalline water and white sand like
"Caribbean". Worth going to see it.
